Rex Rabbit is a variety of rabbit recognized by its luxuriously soft fur that does not shed. It is often described as having a velvety or silky texture. Rex rabbit fur is extremely close in quality and softness to chinchilla fur but costs a fraction of the price. The rex fur is very dense and plush because of its short guard hairs and stands almost straight with very little curl.
